Pet care experience
Thank you for your interest in my pet care services. I know leaving a pet behind during vacation or for an extended period of time can be stressful. I aim to provide the client and their owners with the best experience I can. Which each service I guarantee alert, responsive, passionate and personal care for each of your pets! I also have an “open door” policy. If something comes up that makes the service less than 5 stars, please come to me with it and I will do the best to explain and remedy the situation. My goal is to provide you with stress and guilt free time away from your pets. I am insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates along with the Rover guarantee, covering pets and their parents during emergencies. I have 4 years of professional dog handling, training, and grooming and an education in canine specialty along with 20 years of hand on experience with dogs, cats, horses, small pets, fish, reptiles, and farm animals. Pet care is my full time job! I've been a dog person since I can remember. My chores always involved caring for the animals. I have Aspen now! She is a mixed breed dog - 30% Pekingese if you can believe it! We have completed group lessons for obedience, and we practice every day on progress - not perfection. I provide services for: drop ins, walking, and dog training!

I have never used rover before and so I was a little nervous. Brittany was professional from the start and you can tell she really cares. I quickly felt more at ease about the rover experience while away when I saw how great of care Brittany took of my cats. She gave them lots of love, attention and play time while I was away. She sent me several pictures and updated me after each visit. I would definitely recommend Brittany and would rebook for future trips!

1) Does your dog have any behavioral issues - chewing, leash pulling, separation anxiety, excessive barking, biting, aggression, doesn't like children or other dogs, jumping constantly on people, etc? 2) Is the dog crate trained? How do they normally spend the day when you're at work? 3) Please let me know about your dogs physical needs! 4) Is your dog vaccinated? What for? 5) Are they on tick & flea preventatives? 6) Is your dog spayed/neutered? 7) Are there any health concerns? Allergies, past surgeries, etc. 8) What is your dogs feeding schedule? 9) what is the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I really enjoy having a goal with the pet I'm caring for! Whether its learning self control during play time, house training, walking on a leash better, or something like desensitizing puppies and sheltered dogs to new experiences - I like seeing progress and helping owners and dogs lives!

Availability
My morning starts with dogs, and my night ends with dogs. I am enrolled in an online program to be certified as a canine specialist. I have two years of experience at humane societies, and a year at a professional dog training and boarding facility in Indiana. This October ‘23 will mark one year of providing services through Rover!
