I don’t mind other people thinking I might be a little off my rocker when they see me talking to animals like I do with humans. Yes, sometimes I might use a baby voice, but they are all adorable fur babies so why is it weird? I think being around animals keep us young and connected to our natural world. I’m also one of those people who will always be young at heart. I like to have a good laugh and tend to view goofiness as a positive personality trait. You might find me rolling around the floor with a pup or mud wrestling or in a snowball fight. Life is not all about or only about being serious and following all the rules, while it may be important. We need to know how to have fun and be nutty once in a while. That being said, I am completely and wholeheartedly serious about taking care of dogs. Growing up I always wanted to be a veterinary tech and was always surrounded by animals. I am delighted to finally be working towards that goal. I would like to work with animals because I am so passionate about them. They make me happy and melt the stress away from a bad day! I have a wonderful pup, named Kylo. He is a friendly, energetic dog, that loves to play and make new friends. He also knows when to give space. Sometimes I feel like a dog whisperer because I can get on their level and get personal. I truly love all dogs no matter their breed, size, or age. I used to own a rescue cat and a rescue dog. Every dog deserves a chance and every dog needs love. I really value kindness, loyalty, integrity, and honesty. I believe in karma––we receive what we put in the world, and I want to be known for my optimism and reliability. Working, in the past, with autistic children and rescue animals have taught me patience and that we shouldn’t always judge others by the way we look or the way we communicate. There is beauty in everything, and I want to be a part of positive thinking and self awareness.
