I have grown up with dogs my whole life, so I have quite a bit of experience raising them. Being a dog owner, I would not treat someone else's dogs any different that I would treat my own furry best friend. Dogs deserve the best and I promise to treat them so. I am a nurse in Houston, but until I start my new job, I am looking to do this to help me until I get there. I have experience with volunteering for many shelters throughout my college career, and I have assisted on quite a few surgeries with vets. I have helped with dogs of all ages, all levels of anxiety and am able to help them adjust if it is an issue. Compassion for the animals is the best aid in helping them become comfortable with new people, and I can assure I will provide that in caring for your pet. My dog is a border collie/golden retriever mix, and she is great with other dogs. I find that it helps boarded dogs come into a home with another animal because they have someone to interact with and it keeps them both entertained. I have one medium/large dog crate with a crate bed, and I live in a one bedroom apartment, so the dogs would have free roam. My dog usually just stays under my bed or on her dog bed when I step out of the home. I am free to take them on walks almost any time of the day, on any day. I have a big living room for them to play together and I take my dog to a dog park or big back yard frequently. I am also perfectly fine with going to the owner's home if they are concerned about their dogs comfort in another location. Feel free to ask me any questions!
