Pet care experience
Experienced with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I used to work at a pet hotel and I am trained in animal care so you can feel confident when your family member is in my care. I am a go to animal sitter for my friends and neighbors and love to show your dog all the tricks (or treats) up my sleeves. I've grown up with dogs around me my entire life and have owned a few rescues as well. I was raised around Rottweilers and Great Danes and have even had a Pit Bull in the past. I love the breeds with a stigma and love to help break people of their hatred for such loving animals. I work a weird schedule but I am usually free in the mornings and at night. Saturdays, I usually work morning but my schedule clears up in the afternoon and night time. Sundays are always open and I would be more than willing to spend that time with dogs! I can look a little "ruff" around the edges, but I will turn into a little kid when it comes to giving your dog love. Brittani was fantastic with our very energetic cattle dog! She really helped us out last minute over the holiday weekend, and was really great about making sure Remy got all the attention and TLC (and exercise!) she needed. Happy pup and happy dog momma. I'd highly recommend Brittani!
Brittani was great with our beagle/lab mix one-and-a-half-year-old pup. He’s on a special diet, three medications, and has a bit of separation anxiety, so he needs a little extra TLC. He really liked Brittani, though. She even sent me a picture of him dozing in her lap! I would definitely recommend her and plan on using her again in the future ourselves!
Brittani Whaley is one of the most loving, loyal, caring, generous, responsible pet owners I’ve ever met. Have known Brittani since she was in high school with my daughter and she’s fabulous with pets of ANY kind, and people also just FYI. She bought my Grandson a turtle that he adores. She’s a very patient and compassionate person. She would be a perfect fit in this position. You guys would be lucky to have her that’s for certain!
Brittani is fun, reliable and trustworthy! She has an immense love for dogs so it is a guarantee that when your dog is in her care they will be happy and well taken care of! I would highly recommend her!

Before agreeing to sit for a dog I would like to know the following: the dogs age and activity level, any allergies (environmental and food), if the dog has any special needs I should attend to, any dos or don'ts specific to your dog, any dos or don'ts that you have for the dog. I prefer bigger dogs, but I love dogs of all sizes.
A typical day
We will go on walks through the neighbor, in parks and forest preserves, we can even go to the dog park (with your permission given if your pup isn't dog aggressive). We will enjoy some games of fetch and tug-of-war. I've never gotten a complaint from a pup about my puppy massages! I am always willing to go for a light jog with your dog too, if he or she enjoys a little more activity in their life.
