I have had dogs (and cats) my entire life. I have even cared for laboring dogs before and have a fantastic reputation with my vet. I grew up on a farm, and have owned/cared for working dogs before. I also have been through dog training classes and trained many dogs of my own. I have a half Acre privacy fenced yard with cross-fencing, and a dog door for easy and quick access to both indoor and out. The owners before me kept 5 miniature schnauzers here, and I currently keep one Australian Shepherd here successfully. I am home full-time, and am able to take dogs for long walks as needed. In my home, pets are treated like family, and therefore are allowed on furniture and beds (that's what blankets are for). I have all tile everywhere and so I don't mind helping potty train puppies or caring for elderly dogs that may not be in full control of their bladder or bowels anymore. I can either allow my friendly dog to be a playmate to yours, or I can seperate them entirely as needed. He has had frequent playdates with dogs of all sizes and energies, and his best friend is my mother's 3lb yorkie. I can kennel my dog, yours, or both at night or allow free roaming as prefered. I can perform a Heimlich on dogs of any size (I've done the modified version even on new-born puppies) I also have an emergency vet on call who has a long standing relationship with my family and will even make house calls at 3am if needed. Trust me when I say no one will care about your pet's safety and happiness as much as I do.
