Pet care experience
My name is Britta, I'm 27 years old and live in Pawcatuck CT. I love animals and am a very reliable and trustworthy person!! In college my roommate had a black lab pitbull mix that she would leave in my care for several nights at a time and I am now finishing up a month long dog sitting job for a family I used to babysit for. I stayed in their house all month and made sure that on top of caring for their dogs I kept their house clean and tidy. I'm comfortable with all sizes and kinds of dogs.. Love them all!! My roommate also loves dogs and doesn't mind having them in our apartment. We're both big animal lovers and very energetic active individuals.

Our rescue dog Tilly had a great experience staying with Britta. On short notice, Britta went above and beyond to meet Tilly and learn about her special needs. She was very accommodating and attentive to her in every way. She sent us pictures and texted us messages letting us know Tilly was doing fine. Thanks to Britta, our first experience with Rover.com was awesome!
Britta was great with Ivan! I could tell he felt comfortable and well loved staying with her. He came relaxed and happy. Will definitely book again.
Britta watched my very active Beagle pup, Oliver, while my husband and I were in New York. She walked and played with him, and updated me with pictures! :)
My dog Bodhi knows Britta as his auntie. We lovingly refer to her as that because of how much she cares for, loves, and respects him. Bodhi enjoys walking, hiking, and snuggling with Britta. He gets so excited whenever she comes over (and not just because she showers him with treats and pets). She's a trusty caregiver who any dog will become excited to see!

I would also like to know if they get along with other dogs and how they are with children as there are often other dogs and children in the parks that I would take any dogs staying with me to. I do not have any breed preferences.
A typical day
A dog that stays with me will enjoy much outdoor time! We will go on walks in Wilcox Park, to the serene Watch Hill beach area, and Ninigret Park. During our down time we'll cuddle up, relax, and watch a movie.
