I'm a freelance graphic designer, so I am flexible to for housesitting, dropping by, walking your dog, or a combination of those services. I can board small-medium, potty-trained, dogs (dogs must be cat-friendly). I have a fenced backyard at my home and live in a walkable neighborhood. I'm a lifelong animal lover who has cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, and fish. I've volunteered for a wildlife rehabilitation, support an animal shelter in China, and I currently design for a dog rescue client. Let it suffice to say that I love animals and I will fuss over your pet (unless they don't like the fussing!). I am a calm person, patient, and I think things through when it comes to people's furbabies and caring for their home. Please message me to negotiate rates for cats or other animals.

I've had Britta watch my four dogs twice now (a week each time) and she has veen great. She is very responsive and ibformative about what is going on. She even took my puppy to the vet for me and administered medication to him until I got home. I will continue to depend on Britta for my future dog sitting needs.
You will never find a better sitter than Britta! We were out of the country for 11 days and our senior dog Ellie just loved her. She did an amazing job looking after Ellie and the house. We had some issues with our water heater when we were gone and it had to be replaced and she was remarkable. The plumber was able to get to the house within 24 hours and Britta was more than accommodating with her schedule and routine so the heater could be replaced. We felt incredibly comfortable with her in our home and will definitely use her again, and again in the future!
Britta is the best! And believe me .... we've tried quite a few ...... Ellie loved her and got lots of attention. Britta is a very responsible and committed young woman and we're looking forward to booking again with her at the end of October when we need to be away for a few weeks. Highly recommend her :)

Please let me know if there are any habits I should be on the lookout for such as bolting, climbing on counters, getting into the trash, etc. Your pet's safety and health are my number one concern! Additionally, I am not a big person, so I have physical limits with very large dogs that tend to pull on the leash.
A typical day
If you want to receive pictures of your pet, I can pencil in some photo shoots. I'll take your dog on a walk. I can run with your dog, if he/she is good running on a leash. Feed him/her treats. Play fetch. You know, dog stuff.
