Pet care experience
My family raised me on a farm from an early age where I cared for multiple animals daily (think dogs, horses, cats and goats to name a few). As a teenager, neighbors relied on me to watch their pets while they were on vacation and in college I was the go-to for many families I knew to also watch their fur babies while they were away! Now as a working adult, many of my neighbors have me watch their sweet pets while they go on vacation throughout the year. Since work from home for my full time job, I’m enjoy watching pets for others :)

Britt has taken amazing care of our older Bostons for over the past year. We are so grateful to have such an awesome caregiver that we know and trust as they both have medical issues requiring oral and eye drops, and can’t see well…needless to say, they can be a lot to merely walk on a leash without running in to things! She keeps their routine, updates us often, is flexible/adaptable, and super patient with our pups. Our friends and neighbors even compliment us on how well she treats our dogs while we are away! Can’t say enough great things about her! She always leaves our place clean too!
Britt took wonderful care of our pups! She was diligent with making sure she understood the directions and their quirks! She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos as well as details while we were gone which we loved. Our apartment was also immaculate when we got home which was the cherry on top of the wonderful care she provided! We will definitely use Britt again ?
Britt has been fantastic taking care of our pups! She has been our go-to sitter and we never have to worry about the dogs, or our home! She is attentive, flexible, and always leaves our place clean!
This was our first time having Britt take care of our babies, and she was fantastic! My female has a lot of medical issues and has to take a lot of medicines, so it’s always anxiety leaving her with a new person to care for her. That being said, I felt completely at ease with Britt caring for her! She came over to see how our routines flow and was able to keep them on their schedule without a hitch! Great communication and flexibility! She’s been amazing!

I always want to abide by the owner’s rules, preferences and desires: whether that’s putting keys in a certain place, making sure the air is at a certain temperature or doing a walk through before leaving! I ensure everything is left just as I have found it and make sure every pet has exactly what the need when I leave/after I visit. I’m always happy to crate pets as needed and do what I can to make the experience as “normal” and comfortable as possible for your pet(s). I prioritize clean-up and ensuring your space is warm, welcoming and tidy for your return home to see your pets.
Information Britt L. would like to know about your pet
I like to know if a dog or pet has certain personality traits or behaviors they exhibit on a normal basis, that way I can be aware of when they’re “off” or not feeling well. I find it important to know if certain things scare or upset so I know what to avoid/mitigate as best I can (Thunderstorms, etc.).
A typical day
I love to get to know what your pet loves to do for play - whether that’s throwing their favorite toy or just goofing around in the yard, each one is different. If an owner allows, I love to take dogs to the Freedom Farmers Market on Saturdays or on nice walks throughout the day locally. After an active day, I know it’s also important to play and have some down time as well.

I’m a fitness enthusiast who works her 9 to 5 from home. I’m a creature of habit so my morning and evening routines are consistent, so feedings with any extra instructions are given careful and thorough attention. I enjoy being active throughout the day - so you can count on consistent morning/evening walks as well as playtime throughout the day so both your pet and I get all of our steps in.
