I have been working in a dog boarding facility for 7 years, currently as a manager, and have gained a great amount of knowledge from dog handling skills, to first aid, to administering many different types of medications. I have even some done more specialized care for some clients such as feeding a ME dog in a high chair, given insulin injections to diabetic dogs and caring for dogs with behavioral issues. Earlier this year I attended a trainer/handler course where I worked with detection dogs, followed by 3 months of cargo screening jobs with an explosive detection dog. Besides my experience with dogs, I also grew up with a variety of different pets/livestock and have a huge passion for animals.
