I have grown up with pets my whole life and I have seen first hand the important role they play in the family. To those without pets this might seem strange but if you have a pet you will understand. My family has always had a family dog that I helped take care of, but when I was 10, I decided I wanted to have a dog of my own that I would take care of by myself. I started taking on more responsibility with our dog Gracie and convinced my parents I was trustworthy enough to have my own dog. Soon after, Domino joined the family. I realized it was harder work than I thought, but I was up to the challenge. Feeding Domino, bathing her, taking her outside, and potty training her taught me a lot about consistency and patience. I would love to use my experience with my pets to help take care of yours.
