Pet care experience
I was raised on a farm with animals ranging from chickens to birds to dogs. My family has always been very animal orientated and we always had a dog growing up with most of them being larger breeds. I do have experience dog sitting smaller breeds and can care for elderly dogs who wear diapers or must be carried outside. I also cared for a previous military dog who lost his leg and can harness them into a cart if need be. My current dog is a rescue who is fearful of men and I’ve taken on additional responsibilities in rehabbing him, so I have some experience with dealing with dogs who suffer from stress and anxiety

We were very apprehensive about having someone we didn’t know stay in our house to take care of our beloved poodle. However, Britian kept us updated throughout our trip. I would definitely recommend Britian & will use her again in the future.
Britian has been an animal lover since she was very little. She is a very conscientious and responsible person. She has excellent work ethics. She held 3 jobs while attending college during her junior and senior years of high school. I would not hesitate in hiring her to take care of anyone's animals. She has a beautiful golden irish retriever of her own and loves him dearly.
Britian is caring and attentive to our dogs! She is trustworthy and punctual. Our dogs adore her and look forward to her visits! Our dog is tripaw and Britian goes above and beyond caring for his special needs, mobility restrictions, and medication regiment.

I do live in an apartment, but my complex is right next to a dog park and there’s plenty of space to walk animals. I have a two year old mountain cur mix named simba who loves all animals, but does have a fear of men at times since he is a rescue. He loves to play but is careful of older dogs or smaller dog. He loves cats as well, but they don’t seem to like him cleaning their ears all the time.

Please let me know if you rather the dog go for a run or a walk. As well as how they are around other dogs and vehicles and please let me know their extent of how they behave on a leash. I love all dogs and especially have experience with larger dogs. I owned a Doberman growing up as well as a husky and St. Bernard mix.
A typical day
Depending on the area, I tend to gravitate towards parks or small neighborhoods. Also if requested, for more active and larger dogs it can be a jog or run with the dog as often it’s a healthier form of exercise. Lastly, depending on the owner consent, I am more than happy to play fetch as well.

Availability
I work a normal schedule with a lunch break. I tend to come home during lunch so pets are never alone more than four or five hours.
