Pet care experience
I work in hospitality, but I LOVE dogs. They are actually an amazing respite after all the people-contact. I own two large dogs ( 80 lbs, and 100 lbs), and I have lived with several other dogs, so I have been exposed to several breeds. I have been a dog walker with another local Seattle company and I have house/dog-sat for breeds from pomeranians to goldens, labs, and huskies. I have even administered cancer medication to a smart golden who could sniff it out and try to avoid taking it. ;-) I can work short shifts and the "day job" so they never have to be alone for more than 8 hours (more like 6-7 hours including commuting time). I believe all dogs need exercise and play time, and that keeping them active keeps them healthy. I am happy to be able to provide that service because I know how valuable it is when we need it. Let me help make it easier for you. I know how hard it is to leave your fur baby with someone else (I once flew my parents to Phoenix to take care of my dogs, rather than leave them with a stranger) and I will consider it an honor to be trusted with your pup.

Brigetta was wonderful! Not only did she provide excellent care for our gentle giant, she communicated extensively about her visits. I felt 100% confident that our dog was getting lots of TLC and had there been any complications (there weren't), Brigetta would have had great judgement about sorting them out!
Brigetta is my Go-to Seattle dog walker and pet sitter for my Golden, Ella. Ella especially enjoys her walks in the Park , as well as her afternoon naps in a place she feels comfortable. Brigetta has even taken her on a few hikes with her lab! Brigetta loves my pups as her own and has additionally been attentive when Ella has needed meds or had special needs. She is reliable, professional and I feel at ease having her in my home.

I prefer larger dogs (50 lbs +). but I have also taken care of Pomeranians and French Bulldogs. I believe dog behavior changes with leadership, but I do appreciate any reactionary behaviors a dog might have so I learn how to read it. I also prefer dogs who are not required to be in a crate.
A typical day
My favorite places to take my dogs are Magnuson (especially if they like to swim, as my lab does) and Green Lake. I also live near Discovery Park, so that is a great place too. Sometimes, the leashed-walk is easier than the off-leash park when there is over-stimulation for the dog. I also have time for day hikes during the week when it isn't very crowded. That is a great perk for the energetic dog (and for me, of course!).
