I'm an avid dog (& animal) lover! Aside from owning my own dogs from childhood to current, I've spent the majority of my free time volunteering with organizations like Animal Care & Control and Social Tees as a dog walker and Foster parent. I have also worked with and cared for special needs dogs and will be traveling to Thailand later this year to partner with Rescue Paws stray program. I currently live next door to where I work and frequently pop in to check on my own dog and take her for walks throughout the work day. I'm open to overnight care and weekend sitting - very flexible schedule with WFH capabilities. I'm a marathon runner and very active, so if your dog is up for a run - so am I! No worries, if not. Snuggling in the apartment is just as good!

Brie was a great sitter and very responsive to all of our needs. She sent pics and videos throughout our stay and was on top of our puppies needs. Our puppy loved hanging with Scout and can tell he misses her already!
Brie stepped in last minute when the other sitter cancelled. Duli had a great time
Brie filled in for us for a few days while our regular puppy sitter was out of town, and she was great! Texted us photos and a status update of how our pup was doing. I would definitely use Brie again!
Brie has been the absolute BEST dog sitter I’ve had! I take 4-6 long work trips a year and each time I dread leaving my bulldog Coco in boarding or with a sitter. But Brie completely alleviated my anxiety - with frequent pics and updates. She also is very attentive, asking questions during the stay about bulldog oddities that I forgot to mention initially. When the stay was over, I got a happy and loved (and most importantly tired) bulldog back. For my next work travel, Brie will be my first call!!!

I don't have any breed preferences in particular, but smaller dogs definitely are better suited for the apartment. Open to medium sized dogs. It's important that your pup gets along well with other dogs since Scout will always be there. I won't take on more than one dog (from various owners) at a time. Before sitting, it's important I understand temperament/personality, special needs, feeding habits, etc.
A typical day
Scout and I are pretty active! We love morning walks in particular and like to be outside. Battery Park is just a short distance from our home and we frequent it on our strolls both before and after work. We love to play with toys when we're hanging in the apartment or just hang out on the couch (Scout loves TV).
