Pet care experience
Being a dog sitter is just all part of my lifelong dedication to animal welfare! I just started doing rover again after recently moving to Port Saint Lucie ! I am excited to give everyone pups tons of love ! I’m currently studying to be a Vet, and I’ve always thought that taking care of animals is one of the most important things that I could do. Animals are so wonderful to us and deserve nothing less than the best care that we can give them. That’s why being a dog sitter really is a dream come true for me! I love that I can give back to dogs and to my community all at once. I just can’t wait to meet more pups! My experience with dogs is quite extensive! I currently had two of my own—a Shih Tzu and a Chihuahua. They were the lights of my life! However, as a volunteer for other vet clinics and a dog sitter, I’ve taken care of everything from Pomeranians to Pit Bulls! I just love being around pups and love to help them lead the best lives that they possibly can. That’s why I decided to become a vet myself! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pup, so I’m here to make that time away as easy as possible! I also believe that communication is the best way to accomplish that. Even before the stay starts, I like to start out by collecting as much information as I can about you and your pup. That way, I can see what your care expectations are and find out a little about what makes your pooch tick! When your pup is under my care, I like to send regular, detailed updates that have information on anything you need to be in the know on—from behaviors to meal prep to exercise times. Of course, they’ll always include pictures so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! Likewise, I’m very easy to get in touch with, so feel free to reach out for any reason, at any time!

Things started well. Got pictures the first night. Snow looked happy. However, sitter was not available at the time of pick up. The placed was left unlocked. I was given permission to walk-in and get snow. He was left alone to roam the whole living space in his pee and poo all over. Looks like he wasn’t walked throughout his entire stay. I tried to get clarity on why I saw when I picked him up and did not receive a response. Very disappointed. First and last time with this sitter.

I would absolutely use Bridgette again. She was very sweet and sent me updates on how my dog was doing while I was on vacation.

Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
When your pup is in my care, we’ll make sure to have tons of adventures together! We will go on walks such as the dog park, around the neighborhood and around the dog beach. I love spending time outside, so we’ll always make sure to have some fun in the sun. The dog park is very close to me, so we’ll have no problem getting out and meeting some new friends! If we decide to stay local, there are plenty of great walking paths in my area. I think there’s tons of great stuff to explore!
