I am a lifelong dog enthusiast and have cared for dogs of my own since I was very young. My pets health and happiness is just as important to me as my own. My pets are part of the family, although there are boundaries (furniture, beds etc.) they are treated with the respect and compassion that one would wish to be treated. Our daily routine throughout the week includes breakfast around 6 am, a bone filled with "dog health approved" peanut butter around 8 am when I leave for work, a "Zukes Naturals" treat when I arrive home from work around 3 or 4, dinner at 4pm or 5pm. After a full day of work during the week I take Kimber for a walk; daily exercise is a necessity for this energetic young Labrador. In the evening hours she lounges with her "mom and dad" and plays with her toys. Depending on the weather we may be playing outside until the sun goes down, other days we play inside with her many many toys or we play "hide the bone". On weekends, wherever you can find us, our dog will be there too. Other weekday or weekend activities include training for the "CGC" test and Competitive Hunt Tests through the Southern Michigan Hunt Retriever Club. Kimber knows many tricks and is a very willing to please pup with amazing obedience manners. She goes with us everywhere we go. On special occasions Kimber may spend the weekends with my parents and their two yellow labs. My husband and I are currently in between houses as we make our move down to Adrian, MI. I would love to meet your pups and get to know more people in this area! As of right now I do not have the capacity to be able to dog sit during the day or overnight. I communicate best through text or phone call on my personal cell phone. I do not work from home, but have a VERY flexible work schedule where I can work from home sometimes and come home for lunch to let my pup Kimber out to potty.
