Pet care experience
Hello there! My name is Bridget and I would love to meet you and your furry friends. I have quite a lot experience taking care of pets. I started Rover in October of 2015 and have grown up around animals my entire life. Outside of this website, I’ve worked at Doggy dog cares and Veterinary hospitals as a Kennel Technician. So I’ve seen and dealt with a lot of different kind of animals and situations. I'm talking from dogs and cats or hamsters, birds, rabbits, and lizards so you could say i'm pretty comfortable around animals! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
Reviews
Not quite sure what to say. We clearly stated that we needed a sitter to stay over night with our dogs from 5 pm to 8 am. We gave specific instructions to do this and this did not happen. We installed cameras to check on our dogs because we were nervous, and saw this sitter hangout with them for a few hours and leave. We had to argue with her in text messages to make her stay for the time we agreed for. We will never use this site again.
Our dogs loved Bridgett! She was responsible and fun loving with them . We will be using her again !
Bridget left our house looking better than we did! She kept us up to date on how everything was. It was so nice to enjoy a weekend away not worrying about the dogs or the house. I would definitely recommend using Bridget next time you're out of town!
Thanks for another great job and for the special attention to Bus ! He appreciates it and we do too!

Safety, trust & environment
What you can expect from my services is for me to be punctually, have honest communication, and I will always be respectful of your home and rules. If you do not allow your pets on your furniture, I will not allow them on mine either. From experience I know how tough it can be to train your pet, so I’ll always be very conscious of your specifications! Your pets are your family, and I will always treat them as such. I have no breed preferences! Have never met a dog I didn’t love.

Information Bridget P. would like to know about your pet
-Any dietary specifications or allergies, of course. - Any medications, time of day taken, and best way to administer them (peanut butter, wrapped in cheese, stuffed in a treat, etc). - Favorite treats & what you give treats for (Sitting? Peeing? Number 2? Following a certain direction? Learning a new trick? Let me know!) - Favorite toys/blankets/place to be scratched/etc! - How you reward for good behavior - Toys? Treats? Extra love? - If you have a routine for discipline, any specific habits you’re trying to train your dog out of or into, methods of training - Things to look out for - Will they jump up and grab food off the counter if it’s out? If others ask to pet your dog while we are out is that okay or will your pet be spooked? Are they friendly with other dogs? Do they get homesick at first in new environments? Are the good with meeting strangers? - If your pet is a rescue, are there any triggering environments (sounds, words, certain genders, people dressed a certain way, etc) that cause your dog anxiety? I just ask as I’ve spent time with dogs who were abused by previous owners who did not take well to anyone wearing heavy boots or men with facial hair - I want to be respectful of their needs!
A typical day
First things first, everyone potties!!! Then it’s play time, whether it is tug of war, throwing the ball repeatedly in the yard, or playing a game of chase. Once they seem physically simulated, we would work on any training that is requested. If nothing is specified, we would work on the basics like sit, stay, wait, down. After some mental simulation, we would probably relax until it’s time to repeat the process!
