Your dog's happiness & safety is #1

Pet care experience

Hi there!!! Thank you for viewing my profile & the opportunity to prove to you that I will make your life easier by giving you "peace of mind" knowing that your babies are in excellent hands & well taken care of while you are away! *Pit bull and cats owners, please find another sitter here on Rover as my home insurance does not cover having a pit bull on the premises and I can't be with cats for some reasons. >I have an great work ethic, am very responsible, & LOVE what I do! >I update, text & send pictures of your dog regularly to put a smile on your face! >I have a nice yard >My home & yard are both, very clean! >Filtered water inside the home for the dogs! >I have an innate ability to connect w/animals, therefore it's easy to train them! >I have a gift with socializing dogs! > I use sign language with dogs! They will understand what I'm going to say. >I do have a very socialized dog and kid that you can see on my profile. >I welcome you to give me a try as I promise you that you won't be sorry! Note: My preference is that all puppies should be spayed or neutered at least by 6 months. They are easier to train when they are "fixed." >Food: $5.00 a day if you do not bring your own dog's food. >Dry Food>FULL Bag Policy! Too many times, the client brings a 1/2 bag of dry food thinking it is enough, when it is not. Many labels are not carried by Petco or Petsmart, therefore very difficult for me to find. When the dry food runs out, for the stomach health of your dog, it's better to have exactly the same food, so please bring a FULL bag and whatever is left will always be returned when you pick up your dog! >$25. charge for the time to go to the store + cost of the dry food (if I can find it) will be expected for reimbursement upon pick up of up your dog. **I look forward to meeting you with your loving companion & family member! About this sitter: It is important when you leave your pet in someone else’s care, you can relax and know they will be well taken care of. I started this business because I myself have hired people to care for my own animals and had the same expectations. I am dependable, trustworthy, and I am completely devoted to giving animals the best possible experience when they are under my supervision. Rest assured, I KNOW what I am doing, I have excellent instincts, and I have a deep connection with animals. Being a pet lover runs in my family. As a child, I always felt lucky because my father allowed me to follow my intuition and rescue every lizard, bird, and dog that I felt needed extra love and attention. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I have a passion for both rescuing and caring for all types of animals, especially dogs. I learned at a young age that I had a special connection with animals and as an adult. In addition to having cared for approximately 10 of my own pets over the last 20 years, I also spent 2 years volunteering for a rescue group called green dog in Chicago. My experience there was incredibly rewarding and quite the education! Please let me prove to you that your pets will be in the best hands! I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs ever since I was a child! My first experience was when I was 4 year old, we had a German Shepard named "Rusty." :-) Meet my kids I have 3 sons that are socialized and well taken care of. I welcome your loving, socialized, neutered and/or spayed, **flea-treated dogs to come over & join in on the fun! They love dogs (I know that sounds unbelievable, but it's true!) and they enjoy having dog guests! Don't worry, I am an expert at "Socialization!" I have full confidence in my abilities to work with your dogs so that they will have the best time ever while you are away! Please refer to another rover sitter if you have a pit bull or cat! *Thank you for reading my profile! About my yard My yard is very spacious, clean, and fully fenced in. Actually, I live in Condominium. Pictures are available. The dogs just love it because there is soft, green grass, sun, shade, and plenty of room for fun! Here 's where we'll take our walks I will walk your dog around very safe neighborhood. I will take your dog to empty dog parks (where there's no ANOTHER dogs around they could be put in jeopardy.) I take this responsibility very seriously, and protect your dog so that you can have peace of mind when you are away. Your dog's sleeping arrangement If your dog is socialized, he or she can sleep inside the house, otherwise I have a big living room and hallway, roomy enough to put your dog's bed in it. Time I'll spend with your dog I always walk dogs at least 30 minutes or more, unless they are very old and cannot walk very far. I give an extra bonus of yard time after a walk to bask in the sun or shade, or just watch the squirrels in the fence that shades a good portion of yard. Oh please please send me a text message only!

Thank you Bridget for taking care of Albert! Bridget was great with our nervous and slow paced dog. She provided lots of updates and pictures which took our minds off his care while we were traveling. It was great to have peace of mind with Bridget taking care of our pup.

A typical day

I wake up as early as 6 am, since my kids start their day starts at 8:30am, during which I can take dogs out for potty and short walk. Then, lunch is at around 11am to 12pm, I can use this time to play with the dog, feed them, and take them outside to enjoy the sun (mostly walk to Downtown of Evanston). I have 2x 15 breaks that I can take whenever, in between the start of the day until end of day at 3pm ( I can use that for potty break for dogs). After my kids finished school at around 3-4pm on weekday and out of deaf club at 1 pm on Saturday, I can take your dog for a shortwalk or longwalk with my kids. I usually go to bed at around 9-10 pm, and I will always make sure I take the dogs outside for potty before I go to sleep. I can with dogs all the time throughout my day because I work remotely from home.
