Pet care experience
Queen Elizabeth is my role model as she is equally obsessed with her dozen corgis as I am with my dog Pepper, who is also a Corgi. I have always been an animal lover, and I have experience working with all different types of dogs as a volunteer dog walker at Possibilities, the Akron Humane Society. I am a very active person, and love to run, so it's no problem if your dog is high-energy! However, I understand that all dogs need breaks just like people do, and I have to say that I am an expert belly rubber! My goal is to make your dog feel loved and comfortable, until the most important person in their life, you, get home. I am home for the summer from college and will be available all summer. I looking forward to meeting you!

Bridget N. is responsible, dependable, and trustworthy. I would have no trouble allowing her into my home when I am not there. Plus, she truly LOVES dogs! She plays with, talks to, and interacts with them -- she doesn't just walk them. I have a two-year old German Shepherd and she is very comfortable with playing with her. It can be uncomfortable to have a stranger in the house while we are gone, but I trust Bridget completely. She won't cancel on a whim and she will treat our dog like she is her own! As a teacher, I work with young people daily and I have complete confidence in Bridget. I give her my highest recommendation. She loves dogs and has integrity -- best combination for a dog walker in my book!

I would need to know how well trained a dog is, and what commands they know. I would also like to know a little about their personality type before I meet them, so that if I am meeting a shy dog, I will know to approach them differently than a more social dog.
A typical day
I love exploring the Cleveland Metroparks and I am also familiar with many large open areas that I let my own dog, Pepper, run around or play fetch in. I also have a plethora of dog toys that Pepper would love to share with your dog, and I could even work on teaching your dog some new tricks during our time together if you wish!
