Pet care experience
I have had dogs/cats in my family all my life and now that I am in college and can’t have a dog/cat of my own, I would love to be able to help care for yours! I understand each animal has their own unique personality, but I truly enjoy any time I get to spend with animals. My pets at home have had their fair share of medical issues, so I am well-equipped to handle any health problems your pet may have.

During drop in visits, I typically let the dog/cat tell me what they would like to do. If they would like to relax and get pets for awhile, thats great. If they would like to play and get some energy out, thats also great. In terms of dog-walking, I like taking my dog to various parks around Carmel or to the Monon trails. With the weather being all over the place, she hasn’t enjoyed taking as long of walks recently, so we’ve looked to other ways for her to exercise. I think every walk should be at least 30 minutes, but if they prefer alternative exercise I can definitely accommodate that.

A typical day
I love to do basic games like fetch and chase, but also the more enriching games like towel rollups with dry food bits. On walks I typically enjoy parks with trails like Cool Creek or the Clay Terrace dog park if paired play is more their speed.

I’m currently working part time and am in school full time. However, my schedule is pretty sporadic so I have a variety of times and days available each month.
