I've been fortunate to have grown up in a home surrounded by pets, and have been trained by the Dallas SPCA as a shelter volunteer and foster parent. My training is invaluable when it comes to helping shy/ uneasy dogs acclimate to a new environment, and ensuring that the dogs in my care are safe at all times. Beyond knowing that your dog is in trustworthy hands, I want you to know that they're going to have fun! I'm a big believer in the importance of dogs getting fresh air and exercise- plus it's the best way to bond with them! I live right on Lake Carolyn and am seconds away from several great running trails, so your best friend will get plenty of exercise! I have the ability to work from home so when I host dogs I plan my work schedule out so that I can be home for most of, if not the whole day, ensuring plenty of potty breaks.
