Pet care experience
We brought our first dog home from the shelter when I was 7 and that experience made me the dog lover I am today. Ever since then I have owned and cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, and abilities! I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors and even fostered and volunteered at rescues and shelters ever since I was 16. I currently own a pit mix and have worked on positive reinforcement training with both her and other dogs I’ve cared for so I’m happy to help with training such as walking nicely on a leash as part of my services. I love seeing dogs happy and helping them and their families succeed!

Things I like to know ahead of time are if your dog(s) follow any special routine you like to try to keep, any special diets or needs, and what their favorite activities are. I also like to know if your dog(s) are dog friendly or selective and if there are any triggers we should avoid on walks and/or in the house. I always carry treats for motivation and will help make sure your pups have an absolutely wonderful time (even though they will miss you!)
A typical day
My favorite part of watching dogs is getting to make sure they have the best day every day. This can mean doing their favorite activity like playing in a kiddie pool or with their favorite stuffie. And a game of fetch is always a win even if it’s me fetching most of the balls! Walks in Magnolia Park and on Gainesville’s many nature trails give pups so many new smells to sniff and there is no better exercise than that, especially if the adventure ends with a pup cup. I’ll also send lots of picture updates so you have peace of mind and can see your dog’s smile!

I’m flexible and my schedule varies so I am open to inquiries! Weekends and 11am to 2pm on weekdays are the most flexible, but I can usually accommodate my schedule to fit your needs!
