Pet care experience
I currently own dogs, cats, sugar gliders, and chickens (free range). I am usually the go to pet sitter when family members go on vacation. I have cared for your typical pets like cats, dogs, and rodents, but I have also cared for non typical pets like chickens, reptiles, and sugar gliders. I have also trained all my dogs, with the guidance of a trainer, using positive training methods.

I have a fenced back yard. I do have free roam chickens so we'll have to see what your pet's prey drive is like before they get free run of the yard. My dogs are kenneled during the day when no one is home. They get nail trims and baths as needed and occasionally get dog park or dog friendly river trips on the weekends. Oh, and all the belly rubs one could want!

Outside of specific medical or special needs it is important for me to know what their prey drive is like. It doesn't change a booking but does allow me to plan ahead of time in order to protect my smaller or outdoor animals.
A typical day
I have a decent sized yard to play fetch or run in. However, we do enjoy walks and the occasional trip to the dog park.

I have a full time job that allows me to be home by 4pm. However, I have pet cameras to monitor most of the animals during the day. That is, if my 14 year old child isn't home. After work we'd be going on a 30-60 minute walk (depending on your dog's needs) and play time is always a must in my home.
