Growing up, I've always owned dogs and had a passion for animals. I have a great amount of experience with animals from participating in 4H with my family's goofy chocolate lab to working in a boarding and daycare facility to fostering a variety of animals for our local shelter. Through my experience, I have learned about different breeds, personalities, and techniques to help all dogs succeed in any given environment. I am proficient in working with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, including post surgical care, administering several medications, and working with blind and deaf animals. I am certified in pet first aid and CPR. Additionally, I am very comfortable with leash reactive dogs, and dogs who are not comfortable with other animals or people. Finally, I am very comfortable with cat sitting as well, including elderly cats, kittens, and cats that may need medications or special care. I am currently working from home due to covid, so I am home 99% of the day, with an occasional trip to the office to print. I am a former athlete and would love to stay active with your furry friend. Between the dog fenced dog run at my complex and the local paved trail, there is plenty of space to run around and play ball or just go for a walk, followed by a cuddly snooze on the couch with your pup!
