Pet care experience
I am a driven Veterinary Assistant with a special interest in Animal Behavior. I have a decade of experience working alongside many species of animals (dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, fish) with an array of behavior quirks. Throughout my work with local animal shelters and vet hospitals I have learned a great deal about treating our companions with respect. I have completed Healing Touch for Animals (HTA) Level 1 and have a deep admiration for the human-animal bond.
Reviews
Brianna was very kind and communicated well while we were away from our babies. Our cats aren’t super social with new people but she made a good attempt to get to know them! We will definitely book her next time we need a pet sitter!
Brianne was amazing! Amazing communication and care of the animals! Would highly recommended to anyone!
Very knowledgable and patient! One of my girls is very scared of people and Brianna took the time to get to know her and let her warm up to her! She has been a blessing and we can't recommend her enough!
Hudson had a great time! Thanks as always!

Safety, trust & environment
Your house, your rules! I won't hesitate to mention any safety concerns, but as a guest in YOUR pets' home I intend to uphold your house rules. I am happy to administer medications or perform any basic grooming tasks that may be required.
Information Brianna S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if the dog has ever been pet sat before. How do they react to someone new entering their home? Where do they stay when left home alone (crate, bedroom, etc.)? Do they have any triggers (paws touched, food guarding, boundary frustration, etc.)? Anything to help me better understand their day to day life.
A typical day
I personally cater to the individual dog's needs. Some enjoy walking on greenways and others are too nervous to venture out. I am very protective over dogs in my care and will never allow them to interact with strange dogs we encounter. For this reason, I would avoid taking a client dog places such as Ijams where off leash dogs are often found. Some light training at home can be a great way for me to build a relationship with client dogs while simultaneously building their confidence!

Availability
As a dog show competitor, I travel frequently. But when I return home to East Tennessee I am available 24/7 for questions, updates, drop ins, etc! I prefer drop-in visits but can stay overnights for certain situations :) I am very active and have no problem spending extra time with your high energy pets if they need some extra enrichment!
