Hi, I'm Bri. I moved to New Bern in May 2017 for school to become a Nuclear Medicine Tech. I already have a BFA in Photography. I'm from Charleston, SC but I've also lived in Savannah, GA and Silver Spring, MD. I was a Vet Tech from March 2012--May 2017. I worked in ER veterinary medicine for the last 4 years and loved it. Prior to that when I was living in Maryland I worked in a day practice. While there, I started petsitting and loved doing it. I continued to do so in Charleston and would love to here as well. I have experience petsitting older pets, multiple pets, multiple species, shy and/or difficult to handle pets, administering medications, special diets, etc. Being in emergency medicine I have experience with all kinds of emergencies and I can perform CPR.

Brianna is a great dog sitter. She treats your dog like he or she is her own. She loves animals in general, but pups are a bit more special to her. She is a vet tech - so I felt comfortable with her giving meds to our pups and tending to their special needs. She is very responsible and mature. I would highly recommend her.
I met Brianna through my vet (Kindness Animal Hospital in the MetroDC area); she is a vet tech, and a wonderful person. I travel frequently with my work, and we became friends over the many times that she lived in my house while caring for my 2 pug dogs and my 2 Siamese cats. My animals loved her; they were always so relieved and happy when she was present at their vet office visits! And, my pugs were so funny; when I would return home, they would be thrilled to see me, as usual, but would also run to Brianna to share their excitement with her! I was devastated when she relocated, but we still keep in touch, and she is always welcome in my home. Brianna is kind, cheerful, funny, bright, and completely trustworthy. While she was my petsitter, she had her own key to my house. You could not have a better person take care of your beloved animal family members. By the way, I have a nursing license and a PhD in microbiology, so this stellar referral comes from someone who assesses healthcare and associated-abilities with stringent standards.

I prefer larger dogs but I have taken care of all sizes. I like to meet clients and their pets beforehand. If there is any special routine or medications to go over it is helpful to do this before. This way the pet will already know me somewhat when I come in for the actual petsit.

We can explore the neighborhood, maybe go out to the beach. I've had many dogs who loved playing catch so I can always throw a ball or toy around.
