I am a huge animal lover and have experience with many types of pets. My husband and I currently have 4 dogs, fish, guinea pigs, a rabbit, reptiles, and birds. I also have experience with cats, rodents, and other small animals and reptiles. We also have an 12 year old daughter who is very respective of pets. I am currently a manager and previous dog trainer at Petco, so I am used to many different pet personalities! We can sit most pets (dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, small birds, fish) in your home, and dog and child friendly dogs and some small animals in ours. We have watched friends' dogs for up to 2 weeks at a time in our home, and my dogs got along great with them, spending most of the time playing and napping together. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs my entire life, usually in multiples. I have had roughly 20 dogs in my lifetime and have done any and all training with my dogs since I was 5. Most of my dogs have been medium sized, including pit/boxer and pit/rottweiler mixes, a chow/akita mix, blue heelers, an american eskimo, two catahoula brothers, and a few lab mixes. Of my current dogs, Luna and Gwen are Canine Good Citizen certified and Gwen is also a blood donor! All four of my dogs are rescues, Luna from the Yakima Humane Society, Shyla having been in 4 places including Yakima Humane in only a month before my neighbor brought her to us, Boba is from Tacoma Humane Society, and Gwen was a rehome on Craigslist at 8 months old. Meet my pets We have 4 dogs, a boxer, a kelpie x whippet, a pug x, and a chihuahua. We also share our home with several smaller pets: rabbit, guinea pigs, a couple medium sized birds, reptiles and amphibians, fish, and some really interesting insects, Madagascar hissing cockroaches. About my yard Fully fenced back yard with a 6'+ fence. We live on a good sized plot so plenty of room to run. My experience administering medication I have given oral meds to several different animals including dogs, cats, rodents, birds, and reptiles. I have given injections to snakes and insulin to cats.
