My name is Brianna, I go by Bree. I have been an animal lover since I can remember. I am currently in school, volunteer when I can at Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, and have fostered many animals awaiting their forever home. I also take wildlife photography in my spare time and visit many refuges and sanctuaries (I love all animals). I have rescued countless bats and squirrels, caring for them through the night and bringing them to a rescue the next day. I grew up around all sorts of dogs, German Shephards, Rotts, Pitt mixes, Golden Retrievers, Dauchsunds, Bassett Hounds, Pomeranians, Huskies, terriers. Many of these were dogs that I helped take care of. I also have had many cats throughout my entire life as well as several hamsters and a rabbit. In August 2016, I adopted a dog of my very own for the first time, Keegan. He is a handsome Shiba Inu and I love him with all my heart. He is incredibly smart and equally as mischevious but he is truly a sweetheart and just wants loving all the time. I know the pain/anxiety that comes with being away from your pets and the guilt of leaving them at home while you are away and I want to be there to help your wonderful pup(s) pass the time until you come back! I am fully available on weekends (starting 7p on Friday night to 9p on Sunday night) and will be home the entire time. On weekdays (Monday through Friday), I have marked myself as unavailable because I work 9a - 6p and do not want to mislead anyone about my availability during the week. If you are OK with your pet being home alone on a weekday stay, then please feel free to message me and I will see if I can accomodate. I am familiar with giving dogs medications such as flea, heartworm, or tapeworm medicine (chewables, topicals, and powders). I have cared for both puppies from age 2mo to older dogs up to 12yr. I love the outdoors and am an avid runner so whatever your dog's energy level is, I can ensure that they get the activity/exercise they want or need. I have a large fenced in backyard if they want to run around outside. I also have a 30ft leash I can bring if I am visiting for some outdoor fun if there is no fenced in area for them. I have had experience teaching dogs a few simple, fun tricks such as sit, lie down, paw, spin, wait for it, and roll over. If this is something that interests you, I can definitely work on some of these with your pup. Teaching tricks is a great form of mental stimulation. Just let me know where your treats are and if your dog has a limit on how many they can have. I recommend a low calorie soft treat such as Zuke's Naturals.
