Super Loving Pet-Sitter at UVA!

Pet care experience

I joined Rover because I really wanted an experience that would allow me to connect with more dogs! Growing up, I was not allowed to have a dog which forced me to turn to the professional outlets of pet-care to fulfill my burning desire to spend time with animals. Throughout my whole life, I have always had unconditional love for dogs, a passion that is reflected with any dog I care for. Therefore, I am willing to do any service to ensure that your pets are safe, properly taken care of, and loved. I know how much our pets mean to us, so I will be more than happy to comply to any requests you may have. I want you to know that besides my love for dogs, I have a lot of experience with many different types of dogs. I volunteer at an Animal Shelter and have also cared for animals (especially dogs) in my family. Therefore, I can guarantee that your pets will be in great hands! I love ALL types of dogs and enjoy caring for pups of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, etc. No matter the dog, I take caring for your beloved pets very seriously. I personalize my care to your dog based on their breed, age, and any information provided from the owner. Before caring for your animal, you can expect that I've done the proper research on your dog's breed, as I believe that is a crucial aspect in providing the best care for your animal. While my skillset as a pet-sitter ranges widely, my particular expertise involves very shy skittish dogs. For families with these types of dogs, it can be especially hard to find pet-care, but I can definitely be a resource in this instance! Building a relationship with a dog to ensure he/she is receiving proper care is very important and requires a lot of patience. While this is a slow and delicate process, I have the time and patience to focus on any dog! I also have a lot of experience in training both young and adult dogs, so I am very willing to continue any training you may be currently working on with your dog! Regardless of experience, my main purpose as a sitter comes from my genuine love for animals, and I am always grateful for the opportunity to meet and care for your pets. While I prioritize the care of your animal, I believe it is just as important to keep you updated! You can expect to receive frequent updates from me on how your pet is doing to give you peace of mind throughout your pet's stay with me! Booking a practical stranger online to care for your family members can be extremely nerve-racking, so I am always willing to schedule meet & greets, talk with you over the phone, and/or answer any questions you may have over text!

Brianna house sat for my daughter’s dog, Boss, and stayed late the next day so that he would not have to be alone too long while she drove back to town. She kept us informed about his eating and provided detailed feedback. Boss has a tendency to reject food when he feels separation anxiety, but Brianna patiently sat with him so he knew someone was with him and he would eat. Boss has a new best friend! He will want a visit again soon!

Brianna provided great care for our 3 cats-including one with special needs-in our home. We will not hesitate to hire Brianna again!

Brianna did an awesome job caring for our elderly Welsh Corgi while we were gone for over a week. She provided lots of updates and pictures and also accommodated us when our travel plans changed at the last minute. We would definitely use Brianna again!

Clearly my dog, Reba, loved being with Brianna and her roommates. Brianna sent me detailed updates and pictures while I was away from home for about a week. She was great. Thank you, Brianna!

Information Brianna H. would like to know about your pet

Just to ensure that I can provide the best environment for your dog, information such as their behavior around other dogs and any possible allergies is beneficial, as it will impact the activities that I can do with your dog!

A typical day

My family, friends, and I love taking long walks throughout our neighborhood and nearby trails, so your dog would be getting lots of socialization and exercise! We would also visit dog parks frequently depending on how comfortable your pets are in that setting. I also want to mention that my location in Northern Virginia allows me to be within close proximity to lots of outdoor facilities such as trails, parks, outdoor restaurants, dog parks, and dog-friendly outdoor places. Therefore, your pets have the possibility to go to lots of fun places (if they’re comfortable of course). I also make it a point to stimulate your pet mentally and physically with games and exercise!
