Stay-at-home mom and dog lover!
Pet care experience
I am currently a stay-at-home mom for 3 kids aged 10, 9 and 3. I have worked in the past at a vet clinic as a veterinary assistant for just over a year and at a dog kennel for 4 years at Laurel Acres Kennels in Hillsboro. A majority of my adult life has been dedicated to dogs, and I can't see myself working in any other career. My own dog passed away recently at 17 years of age and I miss working with dogs! Looking to spend time while my kids are in school getting back into working with them once again. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have experience with various temperaments. I can comfortably handle scared/timid dogs or dogs that take longer to warm up to new people. I have some experience with barrier aggression, and dogs that have sensory issues around the head/face or tail.
Reviews
Penny loved spending time with Brianna and her kids. She got lots of love and play time in the sunshine with them this week! Thanks Brianna!
Brianna is such a natural with animals! We use her often to love and nurture our furry ones when we are away or just need some extra help giving them the attention they deserve. I highly recommend her!

Information Brianna D. would like to know about your pet
Before visiting a dog I always like to know whether or not the dog is okay to be around children (or be aware if your dog has never been around children). It is perfectly fine if your dog does not like children but I need to know ahead of time since sometimes one or more of my kids may accompany me on a walk. Any other temperament issues are good to know as well. Anything your dog really enjoys as well as things your dog does not enjoy. Knowledge of any food allergies is also helpful as I tend to keep treats on hand.
A typical day
I love North Clackamas Park for dogs that can use the dog park area and play with other dogs. They also have the area fenced so dogs can play fetch (given they aren't toy aggressive with other dogs). Dogs that prefer to walk alone or aren't as social I enjoy Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. It has nice long paved trails and lots of stuff to sniff and mark!
