Pet care experience
I have been passionate about animals from a very young age. I share my house with a boxer, a min pin, a (18 year old) kitty, and a dwarf bunny named William. I have experience with ferrets, and other small animals. I can promise to care for your animals with the same love I give to my own fur babies.

My animals are my life! My boxer eats a vegan diet as she has many allergies. Because of this I am very cautious with who gets what and leaving food down for eating “whenever” is really not an option. But we have lots of treats for good behavior; often times we have homemade treats. If your furry friend has a preference just let me know! Kevin’s favorite treats are bacon, bacon, and bacon, and Balboa loves anything with peanut butter. 🥜 🥓 🐾 I care for others animals the same as I do my own, and anyone who knows me would agree they are a pretty awesome and very loved bunch. A teacher at heart, I absolutely love teaching dogs new tricks or basic obedience. Although, I must admit, my dogs have free reign of the house when I am home; beds and couches included. They are crated whenever I am gone, and therefore I prefer dogs who are also crate trained. Obviously there are exceptions to every rule; if your dog is comfortable and safe to roam freely just let me know. My main concern with crating is the safety of your animals, and mine of course!

I have no breed or size preference; please inform me of any dietary needs, or behavioral issues ahead of time. We are here to have a good time but also in a safe environment. I don’t mind if fido is particular about open toed shoes (for a very random example), but please just let me know so everyone can remain safe and of course I want your baby to feel as welcome as possible. So (in this example) I will rid the house of sandals before your visit.
A typical day
I have a large yard in the country right near Bigelow Hollow state Park. My dogs and I really enjoy being outside as much as possible. One of our favorite things to do is feed and watch the resident birds, but we also love to walk the property or in the park. There is plenty of time for fetch, walks, playtime, or simply just hanging out together while Mom(s) and(or) Dad(s) are gone. It is a stressful time and EVERY animal is different, so I try to let the visitor(s) decide the pace and type of activities.

Availability
Pet Care is currently my only job; therefore I am able to devote all of my attention to your fur baby (along with my own). I don’t mind early mornings or later in the evening for drop in visits. I can be very flexible as far as scheduling and drop off/ pick ups. If it doesn’t say I am available, just ask!
