Awesome job with the dog and the house! Great communication too

I booked her for house sitting with my two dogs. She stopped by at around 5 PM for less than 30 min. I text her at 8:30 PM because I didn’t see her on my security cameras and I knew my dogs hadn’t been out since we left on vacation that morning. She said she went to a party but would be back soon. I checked again 3 hours later (11:30 PM which is usually my dogs bedtime), she’s still not back. I text her 2 more times at midnight and 12:30 AM with no response. I had to cancel the rest of my trip to head back, lost money on several non-refundable reservations, didn’t get home until 3 AM and had take care of my dogs because of her negligence. She finally replied at 5:30 AM the next day saying she “fell asleep” at a friends house. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior. My instructions clearly stated that they needed to be let out (at minimum) after supper, at bedtime, in the morning when they wake up, and after breakfast. Obviously this was not a priority to her and the comfort and well being of my pets was trumped by a party.
