Dogs are my passion! I love all animals but I hold a special place in my heart for pups. I work from home so I would be home with your baby (or babies) 24/7. My husband is in the Navy so he would be here on most evenings and on weekends to help care for and play with your dog! We live in a two-bedroom, two-story condo that is ample space for dogs of most sizes. We also have a small, fenced-in yard for the dogs to go out and potty, sunbathe, and play like my dogs do several times a day. Walks will still be given throughout the day. The area surrounding our complex is residential and perfect for walking; there's even a small hiking trail with a stream about a mile away. We have two dogs of our own, both are small and one of them is a little rough around the edges. He's "fear aggressive" but he never bites, just lunges and growls to show who's boss. He gets over it after awhile. For this reason, it is best if we do a meet and greet if you're unsure about how your dog will react to this behavior. We can accommodate any of your pups needs, like the administering of oral or ear medication, sleeping in a crate at night, several walks a day, etc. Your pups training will also be kept up here at your request, whether it be no access to the furniture or no begging at the table.
