Briana’s idea of a walk is stepping to their sidewalk and then bringing the dog in. I asked them to take my active dog for 3 walks during the day. They said they walked him from 9-10 and then at 2. My dog’s tracker showed Ghost got roughly 1,500 steps total within the 9 hours he was under Briana’s care. The minimum number of steps for my dog is 14k per day. Suffice to say, I would not use this sitter again.

In the middle of the night, just before Christmas, I learned that my grandfather suffered a cardiac event in Southern California and needed to have emergency surgery, I have two dogs that are very difficult to deal with and my grandmother, who lives with me as well. I am new to the SF Bay Area and did not know who to call, until a friend recommended Briana, from her dogs past stays. I contacted Briana in the middle of the night and she called me back right away, I explained that I not only needed my two dogs to be cared for, but that they were bonded and they didn't always listen or behave. Briana offered to meet us at our house and my grandmother and dogs took an instant liking to her. My grandmother made Briana cookies and the dogs became instant GREAT FRIENDS with her, which I have never seen before. It was raining outside and the winds continued to pick up. Briana was not only able to take my dogs, she also helped me with transportation to the airport and sorting out my tickets while I packed. While I made other arrangements for my grandmother to be tended to, Briana actually took the time and care to check in on her. Briana made sure I was continually updated I genuinely felt that she was now a part of our family. She sent pictures and we participated in zoom calls. My dogs seemed happy and well cared for, perhaps spoiled too much! Briana took them to the park, the beach and threw the balls and frisbees for them. My return date got changed many times and that was no problem for her, as my grandfather got transferred to a medical facility. While I got to know Briana, we exchanged ideas about my dog's care and she is very knowledgeable and caring as well as educated about animals and dogs in general. Briana is able to calmly communicate with my dogs to get them to behave their best! When I went to pick my dogs up, they seemed like they wanted to stay with her more. My oldest and grumpiest dog whined so that he could get another walk in with Briana. At the height of distress in my life, I was able to relax a bit and it helped and was comforting to not have to worry about my dogs. Briana is a genuine blessing for my dogs, grandma and myself and she appeared like an angel, in the middle of the night, to help my family at the time of greatest need. I cannot say enough great things about her and her care for my dogs and family. I am forever indebted and my grandma wishes she would come over again one day for freshly baked cookies and milk.
