Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Briana and I'm a 4th grade teacher & dog lover! I rescued a lab mix named Brewster a little over a year ago and he’s the best thing that ever happened to us! I am currently off for the summer and available to provide walks and care to your beloved pet(s). Currently, I offer "drop-in" visits, daily walks, and overnight care(boarding) at my house in Tolland. About my services: Drop-in visits are perfect for that busy summer day away from home! I can stop by as many times as you like to let your dog out, feed he/she meals, or provide playtime/company. I can also stop by to take your dog on daily 30 minute walks (or longer). If you need overnight care and your dog gets along with other dogs (I have one lab mix), I offer boarding at my house. Both short or long trips are welcome! Why Me: I am a responsible and trustworthy person who will take your dog's care seriously. Your pup will be safe and happy under my care. Before booking services, I always like to meet you and your doggy first to make sure that we all like each other :-). If you plan to board with me, you are certainly welcome to come check out the house and meet Brewster beforehand to make sure your dog gets along with him. Numerous clients have booked with me on Rover and many of them are now repeat clients! I know from first hand experience how stressful and worrisome it can be to pick out a caregiver that's just right for your pet. Just know that I treat every furry friend like my own and give it the best care and love possible while you are on the go. I would highly recommend Briana for all your pet care needs! She is a wonder woman with all animals. She has taken care of my many animals. She has been wonderful with my picky eating and spoiled German Shepherds. She has provided them with day care and overnight care. She always follows my instructions to a tee and my animals always seem disappointed that I am home and she isn't watching them anymore. Briana is a wonderful, kind animal loving soul and I would recommend her to anyone in need of a responsible, loving caretaker for your family pets. If you want someone who will take care of your animals like they are her own - then choose Briana. She's the best!
As an elementary school teacher Briana is used to bringing a calm authority to her handling of dogs. She has watched my Boston terrier and now my boxer many times in a loving and attentive way. The dogs absolutely love her and her love for them is obvious.
Briana has a long history of caring for dogs. She grew up with dogs (Boxer/Boston Terrier) and cared for them when her parents were away. She has also watched my dogs (Boston Terrier/Pugshire) while my husband and I have gone on vacations and they get a lot attention and love- they are spoiled when we get them back! Briana now owns her own dog (Lab mix) and she is wonderful with him also.

A typical day
I would love to go on walks or hikes with your dog! I'd be willing to walk locally or at parks in the area. I know this mid-day break is important to your pooch and I want to give him/her as much exercise as possible. If exercise isn't your pup's cup of tea, I can always just spend time with him/her and play some indoor games with them. I'm willing to work with you to develop a plan that works for your dog!
