Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and raised my own Labrador retrievers. I lost them to old age and while I’m not ready for a new dog, having two little kids, I love being around them and miss their spirit and energy. I’m excited to be around dogs via Rover. I believe that a tired dog is a good dog. I run 5-10 miles every day and can run with your dog. Play fetch or go hiking. I live right off the W&OD trail which is perfect for all of the above I can handle big dogs and high energy dogs. I treat dogs like people. Constantly talking to them and giving them the attention they deserve. Your dog will have fun and be excited to see me, and you will be happy because your dog will be tired!

Brian did a fantastic job looking after Porter for us. He went above and beyond and getting Porter outdoors and exercised (even when the weather was not so great). I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially for active dogs.
Brian has a vibe of cool confidence. Whatever quirks your dogs have, he can handle it! So when our dogs inevitably shared their quirks with him, he took it all in stride. Overall, they adapted well to having this stranger in their house and hopefully he adapted well too! We'd definitely call Brian again next time we travel out of town. Particularly now that he and our dogs have already spent quality time together.
Our dog Summer loved her “staycation” with Brian. They went running, hiking, even swimming - Brian was a perfect match for her puppy energy and did a great job tiring her out! It was our first time leaving our rescue pup with a sitter and Brian sent lots of photos and made sure everyone was comfortable and happy throughout her stay.
Brian took care of Yaz for a week while I was traveling. She came home happy and tired having gotten plenty of exercise and play time. Brian was flexible when I came back early because of weather. Definitely recommend.
