I grew up having dogs around me. Recently, I lived with a friend that has six dogs. They range from senior dogs to raising them from puppies. My friend that I lived with is a Veterinarian , so she taught me somethings. I know that I am capable of dealing with dogs in any kind of situation. Here is a list of some of the dogs I have been taking care of. They range from young to old, little to big and some require special care. Maggie - 14 Yrs.Old German Pointer - requires a specfic diet because she is a senior dog. She is also hard of hearing. It always fun to be around Maggie because she just wants to be petted all day. Lady Bird- 12 Yrs. Old Staffordshire Terrior Mix -also a senior dog that requires specific medications and diet. She loves to be cuddled on the couch. Luna- 9 Yrs. Old Toy Puddle- She doesn't have many teeth left and also requires a specific diet. She loves to play dress up and pickle around hence her nicknake, "Pickeles." Nellie Kane- 4 Yrs.Old Beagle/Basset Hound Mix- she is a rescue that got hit by a car and was diagnosed paralyzed from the waist down. I helped through lots of patience, love and excercise bring her back to being one of the fastest short legged dogs around. Whiskey, Bourbon and Emma- 2 Yr. Old Beaucerons- Siblings that are very high and energy and require lots of playing and running around. Bourbon was very under weight and I helped feed him to bring him back to weight. Charlie- Golden Retriever Mix- 9 Yrs. Old- He requires a lot of attention as he has seizure problems sometimes multiple times a day. So being attentive is important. He also requires medication and a specific diet. Being around dogs is therapeutic for weather they are senior dogs that require specific needs to the young ones that require lots of ball throwing. I just enjoy being around dogs!
