I Love Dogs and I Work from Home
Pet care experience
My wife and I have lots of experience caring for and training dogs. We also share an indiscriminate love for dogs and enjoy having dogs at our house. I work from home and find that it's a nice distraction to pet and play with the dogs throughout the day. If your dog likes other dogs and is a good fit in our home, we'd be happy to have him or her. We adopted a very sick, very underweight puppy named Scout a few years ago and now she is one of the happiest, healthiest, sweetest dogs I've ever known. We recently adopted a second dog, Wrangler. He keeps finding new ways to impress us with his sweetness and athleticism. He's more Velcro than Scout and has a need to be as physically close to another dog or human as he possibly can. Both of our dogs love company and playing with dogs of all sizes. That said, they're both kind of rough and tumble and play best with medium to huge dogs. We live on roughly an acre, most of it fenced-in backyard, in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We have lots of dog toys because I have a weakness for buying things for my dogs. We take our dogs for two 1.5mi walks per day and would accommodate your dog's walking schedule as needed. Scout does not do well when we leave her home alone, so we don't go many places where we cannot take her. That means your dog would also not be left at home without us except on rare occasions.
Reviews
We were so nervous to leave our dog for the first time and Brian and his wife went out of their way to make it better for us. They sent great pics and messages every day. Casey had a blast with their dogs and got lots of great exercise. Their TLC with our precious boy was amazing and much much appreciated!!!
Jasper had a great day with Brian. We got tons of updates throughout the day and pics of their adventures with Scout
Wonderful care for our aging dog.
Brian has watched my love, Betty Pie, a number of times. I hate to leave her, but Brian puts me at ease. He's great with her. Gets right down on the floor and pets her belly. And oh Betty Pie just loves him! Her little tail just won't stop. Betty Pie has some special needs. She has seziures occasionally which made me even more nervous to leave her. On a pre-meeting with Brian she actually had a seizure. I freaked out. He just held her and stroked her until it was over. I'm embarrassed to say he handled way better than me and I was sold. He was the only one to watch her. Brian's patience, love, and easy going spirit is perfect for me. I can tell Betty Pie is well taken care of. And my trips are more enjoyable and less stressful because I know my girl is well taken care of and in the right hands. Can't say enough good things about this guy! Thanks, Brian!
