I enjoy the exercise of walking dogs and find their presence to be a peaceful and fulfilling part of my life. I am a very detail-oriented person. In my short time as a dog owner and walker/sitter, I have found this to be very critical in building a healthy relationship. Listening to a dog owner's insight into their own relationship with their pet, and incorporating those insights into my own interaction has proven to be most rewarding. Generally, my easy-going personality and openness to contact when first meeting a new dog has made my experiences very positive and healthy. I can be playful, but also respect the idiosyncrasies of a particular dog (e.g. likes to walk a set path, doesn't like being touched on her left ear).
