I have several years of experience providing care for dogs. Although I have only become a pet parent two years ago, I have many friends and family members with pets that I have loved and cared for over the years. I am comfortable providing care for large dogs (I've lived with two pit bulls and have close friends with pits) and small dogs alike (my pup is an 8-pound chihuahua/poodle/Havanese/terrier). I am always patient when getting to know new pets, but am also comfortable helping set routine and structure for rambunctious pups. When my pup (Phaedra) came into my home she arrived with a hernia which restricted her exercise and diet. Taking care of her pre and post surgery helped me become more comfortable taking care of pets with special needs.
