Pet care experience
I've been around dogs and cats (and other animals) and have taken care of them my whole life, and in some situations they have taken care of me. I've assisted neighbors by walking their dogs as well as volunteered my time and money to bring pet food to the pet parents of my apartment building. Just a note on my pricing, I currently have low pricing that is so I can develop a reputation as a care provider for animals and don't need people scared off by a high price tag. Yes it is important to provide quality care for your furbabies (or scaliekids, or featherlings, etc) but I don't believe everybody needs to give an arm and a leg to provide care for their loved ones. Do not mistake my low pricing for apathy or low quality care, I do everything for your pets when I'm with them. As far as anybody else is concerned in that area they are currently MY furbaby and I will protect them while you are away and will keep them safe until your return.
Reviews
Brian was great, he stopped by early to meet our two cats and stayed in touch during the weekend. It really put our minds at ease knowing Jack and Rizzo were taken care of.
Always reliable, and always takes great care of our furry family members!!
My cats are not easy - they need meds multiple times daily and they have been kind of fussy, not very hungry lately, etc. He did absolutely everything he could and I felt good about leaving them in his care. He gets to know what each cat likes and how to work with their quirks!
We never worried about our dog. Brian took wonderful care of her and provided lovely updates.

My own pets are kept safe within my apartment, they are stay in cats. However I take them out to the hallway so they can check things out that aren't in their immediate environment. As for clients, I would start by introducing myself to their animals and allowing them to get my scent and to know I mean them no harm and am a friend. After that I would walk any dogs and play with them to get them some exercise for a bit and then when I bring them back inside I make sure they have water and maybe a treat if their owners allow. Because I do live in a small apartment I won't be able to have clients pets over for boarding, instead I want to focus on walking dogs and dropping in and checking in on the dogs (and or cats or other pets) and feeding them. I do take multiple photos of the pets being sat, I send the better ones (the ones without Bigfoot style motion blur) and I try to do atleast one selfie with the dog so you can see they are comfortable with me.
Information Brian G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any special needs of your dog that I need to attend to, medication or chronic injuries are main details but also what kind of games they like to play, do they like to meet other people or animals or if they like to be alone. Also if they have any favorite toys and if they have any dislikes to be aware of, some dogs freak out at men with beards or wearing hats and I would hate for them to be uncomfortable around me for something so silly. Also is there parking around your house? A final note on cameras...let me know they are there (sorta have to legally) I'm cool with them on the outside by the doors and what-have-you but if you have cameras inside like facing the pets or couch or whatever I have this to warn you about... You will end up with footage of me dancing (bad) with your pet and or singing (even worse) songs, usually originals or parody songs about your pet, you have been warned. Also and I'm only putting this in because of recent miscommunications, if I say I will take the job I need a meet and greet, usually this is more important with dogs than it is with cats and it is so the dog can get my scent and voice printed to them as well as get introduced by their humans to know that it's ok I'm there. However that means I also won't click the "accept" until we do the M&G, please do not take that as a sign I'm not interested, I've lost too much work because gigs were given to other sitters before a meet and greet and I only do this so in case something happens with the dog and myself at the M&G like we don't click or something then we don't need to go through the whole canceling of the booking.
A typical day
The obvious activity is a good ol' fashioned game of fetch, but sometimes dogs prefer tug of war to fetch and I can oblige that as well. I don't have any special places to go yet but I'm hoping to maybe find some special locations to share with the dogs I walk, I like to have them show me their neighborhold when I take them for walkies. I also bake my own treats for dogs, they are natural with only 3 ingredients peanut butter, pumpkin, and oatmeal.

I am unemployed in the traditional sense. I stay at home and write while my pets act like my editors and idea sounding boards so I have much time to take care of animals.
