Brian is one of the best dog walkers and caretakers I have met! Not only is he responsible, on time, communicative, but also flexible and thinks ahead. Brian has worked for my dog walking company in Boston for over 2 years as a dog walker, and I could always be sure that when Brian is walking dogs or pet sitting them, he can handle any situation. Not only does he have extensive knowledge about dogs ...

Brian was our primary dog walker for our young black lab a year. He also has stayed with and cared for our lab for over 3 weeks in the aggregate over several trips out of town. I trust Brian completely to care for Tommy. Brian demonstrated clear professionalism and abundant affection for Tommy. I could not recommend him more.

2 yrs of walking/sitting experience

Having worked for an independently owned company for the past two years, I've handled and trained dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, walking as many as two dogs at once in any and all weather conditions. Corresponding via text, I'd communicate directly with owners after every walk with artistically captured photographs of their pet. I've trained new walkers over the course of a two-week period, supervising their progress and determining their readiness for solo ...

What Brian would like to know about your dog

I have no preferences when it comes to breed or size. I would just need to know the usual questions about the dog's temperament, especially how he or she first copes with strangers, especially in as vulnerable a territory as their own home. I'd ask the owner how their dog does with strangers, dogs, and children on the street during walks. Questions about their feeding and possible medication regimens would also be a vital part of the procedure.

When Brian watches your pet

On any given stay, I provide—at the bare minimum—four 30-minute long walks per day. For higher energy dogs, I will happily facilitate runs or any other method of exercise that will satisfy the dog (fetch, playtime with other dogs, good ol' fashioned wrestling, etc.). While home with the dog, I provide thoughtful and loving attention, always meeting the dog where they are. If that means careful playtime inside the house, awesome. And if that means cuddling on the couch, well, awesome!
