I have been a small dog owner for 20 years now. My first two dogs were chihauahus that lived to be almost 15 years each. My current dog is a jack russel mix and is the sweetest little dog you will ever meet. Everyone laughs when I call her my kid , but I feel she is such. My neighbors all call me the dog whisperer because no matter what dog it is, they all seem to love me. The apartment complex that I live in has a 50 yard fenced in dog run complete with ramps, tunnels and doggie mountains. They love it. I am a chef for a hunting and fishing lodge in Matagorda but am usually only down there for 7-8 days a month , so I am available most of the time.
