Growing up I was an only child with not a lot of kids my age in the neighborhood. My parents wanted to teach me responsibility and give me a friend so one Saturday we went to the shelter and I adopted my first pet; a bishon puppy who had a LOT energy and little discipline. My parents worked full time so the puppy was fully my responsibility. I walked my puppy everyday and was responsible for training him as well. Fast forward a few years, in college I volunteered frequently at the Humane Society and even was part of planning a fundraiser with my sorority. Dogs aren't just pets, they are family and I want you to feel 100% confident in who cares for your family.
