I grew up around dogs and have always had one (or two!) in my own life. I'm a big proponent of positive reinforcement training with my own pups, and I know that 2-3 good play sessions make for a happy dog. I teach tricks and general obedience, and my wife and I love to go to parks, hiking trails, and dog friendly beaches with our own pups. We know that dogs are part of the family--we feel the same about our own--and leaving them with strangers can be hard. We're happy to provide daily pictures and pupdates so you know that your dog is having the best possible time with us. Our own dogs are a Border Collie and a rescue mutt, so we know how to engage smart, high-energy dogs as well. We would love to host your pup! We take our own dogs at 3 times per day, plus potty breaks: a morning walk or off-leash session, an afternoon walk of 2-4 miles, and an evening walk or off-leash session. We both work from home, so can keep an eye on the pups most of the day. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs so your will have some company. We never leave dogs unattended for more than an hour, and always safely separated when we do go out for any length of time.
