Pet care experience
I have been loving and caring for dogs for most of my life. My wife and family often call me a dog whisperer, which I often feel is overstating things a bit, but I do love dogs and always have. I love being around dogs because I feel I have a good understanding of them and there isn't anything like the site of a dog, whether they are running, playing, or even just sleeping to make any home happier and more welcoming. I have owned and cared for dogs since I was 11 years old. I'm not formally educated as a dog trainer, but I've been working at it long enough that I've picked up a lot from books and, other owners, and trainers. I love dogs and I would treat any dog in my care as well as I would my own.

My dog had the best time staying with Brent! She seemed to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I am glad that we have found someone I will always feel safe to call.
Our dog loves Brent and all the activities he does with our dog. This is our 2nd stay with Brent and he has been great and easy to contact.
Rosie and Leo LOVE to stay with Brent! He is also great at keeping us up to date with what is going on with the pups while we are away. Leo has some special needs and takes medication. Brent is wonderful at giving him the extra attention necessary to keep him healthy.
Our 10 month old pup, Bix, had a great time with Kaya and Brent! Brent sent us adorable photos of Bix and Kaya, and gave us updates that made my husband and I reassured that Bix was adjusting well to his new surroundings. We would definitely recommend Brent and we have already booked another vacation for Bix with Brent and Kaya.

Are they up to date on their shots and flea/tick and heart worm medication? And are they leash trained and crate trained? If your dog doesn't need a crate or isn't good on a leash, that's not a deal breaker, but I may have other questions.
A typical day
I love walking my dogs every day. I live in a beautiful, dog-full neighborhood that is filled with beautiful trees and scenic houses. If I ever get tired to those though, I love to have the dogs run around in my fenced-in backyard, or maybe go on a hike through Forest Park.
