I've taken care of dogs most of my life. Now that we have our own house, one of the first things we did was to get our own. Wilf is a labradoodle that has settled well in our family home, which includes an active four-year old. Wilf is very social and we regularly have other dogs over so thought we'd extend the offer to Rover. We'd only be able to look after one additional dog at a time, and, as noted, they'd have a furry friend to keep them company! I work a flexible schedule, which involves working from home or (if I do need to be in the office), my partner would be home (we stagger our days). We have a fenced-in garden. It's fairly big for a London terrace, but out the back gate is a lovely dog park which we regularly visit. Dogs are part of the family (though always stay on the ground floor!).
