Howdy, I’m Brennen. I’m a songwriter and touring musician, and between trips I'm normally home during the day and evenings. My partner Noel helps me with dog care. We live with a seventy pound, sweet husky/hound mutt (Bjorn), who was rescued from a busy two lane highway in June of 2016. Before Bjorn, we had a Redbone Coonhound named Misko who traveled the country with us, visiting over thirty states and Canada. We're active and enjoy walks, snuggling and playing. We'll send photos while caring for your pup. We are vegan (our dog isn't). We believe dogs are a member of the family, and we will treat any dog placed in our care with dignity and respect. Brennen has always taken such great care of my sweet dog when I'm out of town. She gives just the right amount of exercise, TLC, and baby talk and I would recommend her to love on anyone's furry friend!
If I've ever known a dog person, it's my sister Brennen. She's been the most special friend to every dog she's known in her life- from our childhood black lab Jake who would nap with her in an easy chair; to her redbone coonhound who she gave the best of care even in his old age. Despite his thyroid problems that required attentive care, he lived a long and happy life with lots of walks and swims and trips to the beach. Her current companion is a special guy she found along the highway- they were meant to find each other as he is very happy now in his new home where he receives the best of care. Brennen shows the greatest of love and kindness to every dog- even those she's only met for the first time.
Brennen is a special kind of pet lover. Since her childhood she has loved and cared for animals. Her own pets have experienced nothing but love and respect. She rescued her current dog from an obvious abusive home. After a few months, her dog has shed the signs of neglect and responded to her with love and appreciation.
