I work at home in sales and marketing during the day with my 12-year-old coworker, Elsie the German Shepherd. We take frequent breaks for belly rubs and pets. Although Elsie can't make it anymore, my spouse and I enjoy staying active and hiking the local trails. We actually got engaged on the Franklin Mountains! I love a good adventure, but an ideal Sunday afternoon would also be trying out a new recipe and watching a movie. Elsie is my third senior pup rescue. Although I love a good hiking and adventure buddy, it breaks my heart to see an older pet without a comfy bed and lots of pets. I have experience with all breeds, as my last two rescues were a beagle and a pitbull. All of the pups I've rescued have had health concerns and/or special needs, so I am familiar with administering medication and caring for unique temperaments. I would love to foster and adopt more pups in the future, but in the mean time, I'd love to help take care of yours!
