Hello! Thanks for stopping by! We're a husband and wife duo located in St. Petersburg, FL with a passion for pups! We've been dog sitting through Rover for over 6 years and have loved each and every minute of it. Previous to Rover I was a Shelter Manager for a Humane Society for several years and even though I am no longer in that position, we still maintain our passion for rescues by fostering litters of puppies and kittens from time to time! We know how to keep ourselves busy! A little about us: Jez and I have 5 dogs together, all of whom we rescued through shelters or being re-homed independently. We like to joke as we now have one in every size (small, medium, large, and x-large!). And I know what you're thinking, we do dog sitting too? Absolutely we do! It may sound like a full house but for us it's another day in the life. Our pups are the best with other dogs, they all have varying levels of speed and energy and not all will be out/playing at the same time with yours. Some prefer to lay down in our room and nap their days away watching Planet Earth on television and some prefer to be outside digging holes, running wild, and chasing squirrels. We're happy with any and all ages, sizes, and energy levels in our home! What you can expect: We allow pups on our furniture, in the room at night with us, have a large fenced in yard that has a plastic kiddie pool for those hot summer days, peanut butter parties (for those allowed), and even offer enrichment on rainy days (can you say puzzle feeder?!). Really, we do our best to turn our home into the vacation your pup deserves! After all, you're on vacation too! If you prefer for us to keep them off furniture or anything you want us to enforce that you do please let us know! As much as we want them to have fun, we don't want to break their routine as maintaining that routine will set them up for ultimate success! We hope you'll consider us for your pup's boarding needs. We treat every pup that stays with us as though they were a member of the family. And having done this so long, some are practically family! We love having our clients that turn into regulars and have had the pleasure of meeting them as puppies and are now full adults!
