I come from a Boxer family, we always had dogs and I loved it. I'm going back to school and can't commit to my own yet but I still want some pupper in my life. My dogs have always been family, keeping them off furniture usually lasted for about a week max. When my friends need an overnight, their dogs come stay with me. I live across from a grass field and I'll go run around with them. I play Frisbee as a hobby so I've got plenty to chase if they're into that! Or maybe they're a sideline sitter, that's cool too. I fostered a VERY separation anxiety prone Springer Spaniel for 6 months last year. He was a challenge but so rewarding when we found his forever home. We went from scared of his own shadow, not eating, no idea what a ball was to confident, healthy, listening (usually) and happy in that time. We worked every day and I learned a lot doing it.
